Tracy is a self-taught artist in all the mediums he uses. Although he has taught many art classes and given many lectures on art, he has never attended more than a high school art class.

Tracy's work is less an emotional expression and more an experience in technique. His goal when creating a painting is to bring a real sense of three-dimensionality to the work. He wants to surpass anything a camera could capture and give life to the two-dimensional surface.

His art is not limited to the canvas. Whenever given the chance, he likes to move away from the flat surface and paint on things with depth. Which is why he started painting on ostrich eggs. He found a challenge in creating on a three-dimensional surface. Like most challenges, he surpassed what had been done before. He created artwork without edges that could be turned and made into continuous images.

He is also a husband and father of two. His family and him are currently second degree black belts in Taekwondo, working toward third degree. They are also working toward their first dan black belts in Combat Hapkido. Along with martial arts, the family has spent the last two years building their own home from the ground up. Tracy was previously (and still is when needed) a carpenter.
